TEPIAN is committed to supporting transparency and research integrity, following the principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors are encouraged to share research data, particularly datasets that support their findings. Research data should be publicly accessible and properly cited according to journal guidelines.

However, in cases where legal, ethical, or privacy concerns restrict data sharing, authors must include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript. This statement should clarify the availability of data and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and participant consent.

Sharing research data improves accessibility and strengthens reproducibility, which is essential for scientific progress. Open data allows other researchers to replicate, verify, or expand upon findings. Therefore, authors submitting manuscripts to TEPIAN must ensure that their data is valid and reproducible by other researchers.

Post-Publication Discussion and Correction Policy

As part of its commitment to transparency and scientific accuracy, TEPIAN ensures that corrections are made when necessary. Corrections apply to errors that are scientifically relevant, ethical in nature, or have legal implication. [back to Publication Ethics]
