Buletin Loupe E-ISSN: 2580-5274 is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Samarinda. The journal accepts academic articles from various fields related to agricultural technology, forestry, plantations, and other applied sciences. Carrying the spirit of applied knowledge for the advancement of science and practice, this journal consistently publishes scientific articles that provide significant contributions to the development of applied sciences. This journal is published twice a year, in June and December.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Buletin Loupe must conform to the Focus and Scope as well as the Author Guidelines. Submitted manuscripts must meet scientific merit and demonstrate novelty in their respective fields. Manuscripts should be written in proper Indonesian or English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts checked for grammar and clarity prior to submission.

Submitted manuscripts must be free of plagiarism. Authors are encouraged to check the similarity of their work using tools such as Turnitin before submission. The editorial team will also conduct a similarity check using Turnitin or similar software.

Each submitted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The journal uses a single-blind peer review system, in which the reviewers are aware of the authors' identities, but authors do not know the reviewers' identities. In some cases, the Editor may assign a third reviewer to provide additional critical commentary on the manuscript.

The final decision on manuscript acceptance is made by the Editor-in-Chief, based on the recommendations of the reviewers and the editorial board.

Publication of accepted articles, including their assignment to specific journal issues, is determined by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into consideration the order of acceptance, thematic relevance, and authors' geographic diversity.

License and Copyright Policy

Authors who publish with Buletin Loupe agree to the following terms:

Authors retain copyright and acknowledge that Buletin Loupe is the first publisher of the work.
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in Buletin Loupe.
Authors are encouraged to share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or personal websites) prior to and during the submission process, as this can lead to productive exchanges and greater citation of published work.

Archiving Policy

Buletin Loupe utilizes the PKP-PN LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This system allows those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

This newsletter charges the following author fees.
