Abstract

This study aims to establish the concentration of ammonia (NH3) to water wells around Watershed Waste Disposal Factory in the village Bontocinde, Takalar Regency. Ammonia levels were determined by using a UVVisible spectrophotometer using Nessler method. Samples used by 4 sample is a sample from water wells A, water wells B, water wells C and water wells D. The results showed that the concentration of ammonium ions in water wells A was 0.37 mg / l, water well B 0.57 mg / l, water wells C> 0.05, dan water wells D 0.78 mg/l. Ammonia ion concentration allowed is 0.5 mg / l. The results showed that the sample water wells B, and D are in the analysis do not meet the standards, while samples A and C meets the standards set by Indonesian Government Regulation No. 82 Year 2001 on Water Quality Management and Control of Environmental Pollution.
