DORMANSI PADA BOKASHI GULMA DARI LAHAN TANAMAN KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq)

Abstract

Weeds are plants that its presence is not desirable on farmland because of lower results that can be achieved by the plant production, the presence of weeds lower results due to disturbed production plant growth through competition. Of losses – losses due to weeds, weed is one of the benefits can be used as bokashi. Bokashi is a organic materials rich in biological resources. This research aims to identify the growth of weeds on bokashi. The research was carried out on 2 places that is housed in the laboratory and pilot plant production of oil palm Poleteknik Farm Country Samarinda. The result of the identification of weeds in oil palm crop land there are types of Axonopus compressus- Ageratum conyzoides, Asystania, ganggetica (L), Chromolaena odorata, Clidemia hirta (l.), Colocasia sp, Cyperus rotundus, Davallia denticulata, Eleisune indica, Lantana camara, Mikania micrantha, Melastoma malabratichum, Nheprolepis biserata and Stenochlaena palustris. Based on the results of observation of the growth of weed seeds in the bokashi not found the presence of seeds of weed growth. It is alleged that weed seeds are still in a State of dormancy.
