Abstract

The research purposes is to increase constituent of N, P and K elements in compost from a mixture of water hyacinth and rice bran using different bioactivators.This research was carried out in the Production Laboratory and analysis was carried out at the Soil and Water Laboratory of the State Agricultural Polytechnic of Samarinda. The treatment of the research was the provision of different bioactivators, namely Stardec and Trichoderma in the manufacture of compost mixtures of water hyacinth, cow dung and rice bran with 3 (three) levels of treatment, namely composting without bioactivator (p0) and composting with Stardec bioactivator (p1) and making compost with Tricoderma bioactivator (p2).Laboratory test results show that the content of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) is the best in p2 treatment, namely 1,400% N, 0,454% P and 0,768% K.
